Drainage and Utilities Help

Export Drainage Model

You can export a Drainage model for use in OpenFlows products, such as SewerGEMS. The files that are needed for the OpenFlows product are extracted from the active design file, and saved to the chosen location. If there is an active terrain model in the active design file, then this is also exported as a .TIN file.

To export a Drainage model:
  1. Go to Drainage and Utilities > Home > Model Import/Export > Export Utilities > Export Drainage Model.
  2. In the dialog box, specify the directory to which the file should be saved and click the Save button.

Alternatively, you can follow the below steps:
  1. In the OpenFlows product, select the option to open an existing hydraulic model.
  2. Select the DGN file that contains the Drainage and Utilities data.

Note that the active terrain model is not transferred in this workflow.
